Runrig come the rock group founded by brothers Rory & Calum MacDonald inside 1973 in the rural Western Isles of Scotland and are now popular through Scotland, Denmark and Germany. It is notable for combining original songs inside Gaelic with a rock sound and reflecting a Gaelic culture.
